The year is 2247.

For almost two hundred years Sentient AI research has been banned.  Everyone knew this, and yet no one has ever given up on finding the perfect setup for it.  Restricted AI are rare, but possible to get ahold of if you have the money and the clout to get through the law for it.  Especially when it deals with the military.

Alfred Homis is an engineer and has spent the last three years working for the United Terran Military's Research and Exploration Department.  Specifically to help build a 'shackled' AI who's prime directive was to explore potentially habitable worlds.  Worlds that are far cheaper to colonize and add to the United Terran Directorate's fold than terraforming.

During the AI's maiden voyage things go horribly wrong,taking Alfred Homis along for the ride.  Thrown into a parallel universe where the laws of physics are just alittlemessed up, Alfred finds himself trapped inside the very machine he'd helped to build.  Add magic, hostile fantasy creatures, and two different pantheons of 'Gods' to the mix and things get even more complicated.

Oh, and an invasion between universes to boot.

But that's just all in a days work though for Alfred, the AI Lord.

Authors Note:

Hi guys!  Long time no see.  And yes, I know that's all on me.  But I blame life for that.  Anyway, this is my new work, and I hope you guys enjoy it!  The chapters are a little shorter than I'd previously posted in my other stories, but I cannot say that I have the same amount of time or energy to write them like that anymore.  Sorry about that.

Still, some warnings:  There is cursing in this story.  I am not going to edit it out.  There will be sexual content later.  Blood, gore and cruel depictions are all planned.  If that isn't your thing, I'd suggest you turn back now.  There is also my dry, and often not-so-funny sense of humor.   And oh, it's all in first person gain.  Haha.  I just tend to write better that way.

If none of that bothers you, then enjoy the read!  Feel free to comment, point out mistakes, or make suggestions!  Reviews are nice too, but please lay off the criticism until the story gets good and going.  Thank you.

    I've read upto Ch3. The first thing this story reminds me of is the story I’m A Spider, So What?
    Style / Story
    I like the carefree attitude of the MC. The only thing I'm wondering is what happened to the original AI? Was it's "concousness" if it had one just get eaten up by our MC's? I wonder if he'll experience any changes that he's unaware of?
    The story has a good pace and flow. With another POV with the reaction of Earth, we as readers get an idea to think about things that are introduced in the story without it becoming blatant. We know that there is radiation, and it's mentioned twice without overly mentioning it in the same scene, but from different perspectives. Alfred doesn't even put any importance on the radiation, but the Earth does.
    Character
    I feel Alfred is authentic. He manages to give me the feeling he's relaxed without an overly bubbly personality. He doesn't down play or overly worry which is a good trait for someone in that situation. I just wonder how he's going to interact with future Earthlings or Humanoids in the future. Will the Earthlings view Al as an AAI, AI, or Alfred himself?
    Question: AI and Al (AL) look very similiar? Was that intentional for Al in Alfred?
    Grammar
    I've noticed no grammar errors while reading, atleast now that I think back to it. I don't recall any poor word choice and everything sounded and flowed well while reading.
    I like the story so far. Keep up the good work.

    This is a really great story. I only have two complaints; firstly, I don't really care about what is happening back on Earth. The story would be better if you just said something went wrong, the mc is an AI, and he's on a magical world. Secondly, what do you mean by multiple magical worlds? It's a biit confusing, and you should really explain that. Please update!

    Heh. HOw do you mix the best of tech and magic? Simple, by giving an AI stranded in another world access to a [Status] and have him make a dungeon.
    This story brings in the best of both worlds, with great world building and easy to understand knowledge. We explore the world (Ahm... Universe(s)) together with our MC, making it an enjoyable story.
    Stringing together the laws of magic, through the laws of physics and the pinnicale of technology, the story takes us on a fantastic ride.
    I really enjoyed reading this story and hope that it will be continued and (hopefully) one day completed.
