This is pretty well written, easy to read and well worth your time.
The main and Sensei are the only are the only two we really know sure, yet I feel the story will later come with more characters to make the world more colorful.
I like how you described pack animals nature and the fight scene later.
Might I add that you have opened my eyes a little in writing, yet I will continue you writing my style your's has given me idea's to incorporate in mine.
All in all I wish you the best of luck in giving me more cocain... I mean more reading material.

I have to make clear that I’m not very fond of Xianxias, but here goes what i have thought so far on the story!
    [STYLE]
I don't know what to say here, Sky’s review pointed mostly what had been bugging me so look at his!
The only thing i can say it’s that the style suits this kind of story, it may need some polishing, but i think you are on the right trail!
    [STORY]
About the story per se, the chapters are too short and show too little! If you wanna keep the length of the chapters, i think you will need to balance the chapters that show cultivation and others that expose something about the world around the characters! The reason of this is that, developments and progress are happening too FAST and don’t give us the time to settle with the changes!
The out of story chapters were AMAZING and i LOVED them. They were pretty solid and settled a good foundation for understanding a little about the world.
And finally, about what has really been going on, nothing much besides the training/cultivation of Jeru. However we can expect many developments! (the prologue and Edjudan casted such preambule….)
    [GRAMMAR]
In this field i can’t say much, being a non native english speaker i find that the grammar was good, so i will not judge it. I will grant native english speakers the right to judge on this field.
    [CHARACTERS]
So far we encountered many characters, some had their traits that leave room to try to understand them, but, strictly speaking, only Jeru and Edjudan can be ‘evaluated’.
My thoughts on Jeru are a mix of like and dislike, he has motivation and focus, shows signs of knowing the things that really matter and those that don’t, he really is putting new knowledge into practice, those are the things i like. For the dislike, i have to say that Jeru is “too absorbed” by the plot, he only moves forward the direction of cultivating himself creating a disbalance between “what he wants to do” and “what he needs to do”
Edjudan so far i like it, a mischievous old man yet powerful
