Description
Long ago Wendigos settled in the cold north away from most other Beings. Their almost secretive nature often gives Beings the impression of deep spirituality. And then there is Yrsa.
Flighty at best she lives in her deceased grandparent's RV in the middle of the desert. Taking up the job of a mail carrier she earns enough money to keep her lights on and not much else. When a fairy on her route causes her to crash it triggers a chain reaction leading up to her finding a purpose.

- 00Petrichor00Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0To be fair I only started to read it because the concept sounded interesting.
What I didn't expect was for the actual story to be so captivating and endearing.
Despite the Main Character (Or maybe because) being a literal monster from horror storys you soon begin to identify with her. She is honest, direct and maybe a little too trusting, but despite having her own little flaws she quickly grows on you and all you begin to wish for, is for her to find the happiness she deserves.
The story itself begins as a neat slice of life that is fun to read if a little drap if you don't like this kind of thing. But it seems to now (especially after the last chapter) evolve into more of a road trip adventure which I'm all for. Go Wendigo!
The grammar and writing is mostly on point with only little bits and pieces, where either a couple of words are missing or a word is written wrong, other than that nothing to scoff at.
Overall I'd say, that this is an enjoyable read that every one should give a chance because once it has you in its(her) claws it won't let go so soon. - TheOldLord10256Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0I like the story due to the characters not feeling wooden and the way that the different fantastical creatures within the story are presented really normally is a nice change of pace compared to many different books.
Give it a try
