Description

A prophecy made to be broken. An otherworlder in a story he shouldn't be part of.What happens when the one who knows tries to change things ?And what happens when those very things go wrong ?

Ashley is just a guy, a person of normal constitution that lives an ordinary life. There is nothing special about him, except for that part where he got teleported into a different world.

But, somehow, it's a place that is familiar to his mind. He wakes up in Pyrrhia, a world he knows from childhood, but has no idea how this happened. Unfortunately, it doesn't matter, this place isn't very welcoming when it comes to the two legged creatures we know as scavengers, and he soon finds himself into a very peculiar situation.

However, Ashley has been granted the Ability to speak with dragons at the same time he has been sent here, maybe he will be able to use this ability to make some friends, or, at least, survive.

And who knows, maybe he will be able to have a meaningful impact in this new world.

(story is currently under rewrite to improve the starting chapters, story won't change, but the dynamics will be improved)1 to 3 : done

    I really like this book
it reads quite well regarding the authors statement of not natively speaking English and is easy enough to follow and enjoy, the content is good and the characters are well written, you can really tell who is speaking when, it sets the books out from others of its type

After way too many torturous stories where there are never any humans that interact with the dragons, this story was practically a blessing sent from the heavens. And the fact that the protagonist knows what is going to happen and does try to make things follow as closely as possible to the original while making sure to have some changes for the betterment. The twists are actually great along with the buildup and it all makes sense. I even like how the story is more oriented towards Ashley so then we aren't really repeating some parts of the original stories one-to-one.

I'm gonna be honest, if it wasn't for the fact that I'm a big enough Wings of fire fan I would have been deterred by that ai-generated cover. If you want your fellow fans to read this, I would suggest replacing that cover. A piece of fanart or one of the covers would be leagues more approachable than that cover.

I am not familiar with the original series, but in this case, it is not necessary.
I will not say English about grammar.
The story goes on and this is visible and pleasant to see. The characters are not cardboard and it pleases.
The main character is good (but not perfect).
Everything suits me until this moment.

I have to rate this two stars on grammar alone. Its horrendous and really needs a beta or AI to help improve spelling.
Sentence structure seems okay and the synopsis had me really intrigued but the constant errors really detract from the story. Not much else to say on this.
