A Hostage to Hostages

Caught in a historic moment for the Coalition of Earth, Isaac finds himself a hostage to the crew of the Agent of Chaos, a military voidship of the COE. Will he survive the attempts of his government to "rescue" him while suppressing the truth of the Agent of Chaos?

This is my first attempt at seriously writing anything, so helpful constructive criticism and feedback is greatly appreciated. I would especially like help in making the dialogue sound more realistic and natural. This is especially an issue in chapter two, which is basically exposition in conversation form.
