What would happen if animals made a nature documentary all about humans? Fiddler is a mouse with a big idea and an even bigger attitude. He works in TV and wants to reveal to his woodland friends the mysteries of the human world. But humans are dangerous, and Fiddler's rivals want him stopped. Can he achieve his dream and make the best wildlife documentary ever? You'll have to find out.

'A Gathering of Humans' is just a silly tale I wrote a long time ago. It's a bit of fluff, mostly for younger people but if you need a bit of light-hearted reading in your life, I hope you will enjoy this. Oh, and suspend your disbelief for a little while.

As the author says this is a bit of fluff and fun, it is hard not to equate this to a bunch of anthropomorphized mice running around in the style of so many cartoons. The cartoonish and then realistic aspects do clash somewhat, as the nature of filming humans or indeed even talking cats and such do clash with their otherwise 'mousy' actions. Half the plot comes about from Fiddler being reckless and stupid. This was a lot of fun, though it bring attention to its problems and have two different antagonist's while at the same time fundamentally misunderstanding humans while being about filming them.
