Description
Top-rated Russian Dystopian LitRPG Series is now available on Amazon. They lied, they lie, they will lie. This world is built on deception.
Vasily entered the store that fateful evening and became involved in a life-or-death game arranged by a mysterious creature. He survived, but instead of being on Earth, he now appeared to be in a different world, with other people who had passed a similarly deadly test. Some made it through by using force, some by using their cunning… Everyone has their own story, but they all have one thing in common — there are no good people among them.
The world of Karik turned out to be akin to a game. In it, one can level up, grow stronger, even resurrect in case of failure. But if one makes a mistake of believing the wrong person, they will die for good. Will the magic that Vasily needs to conceal, or maybe his patron, who seems incapable of telling the truth, help him? Who can say?

- Aki-chiRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I fucking love this and would very much love to personaly thank the translator, the work is great and with a good schedule. Now, the novel... Boooiii, its mind blowing in many ways, gave me plenty of evil ideas and a wish to learn rusian, so yeah, put in some game elements, lots of drama and a relatable villain story, to me at least, and you have a story so good it deserves various awards.
- BayonettRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I've not really picked an interesting book like this in quite a while. In light of that, I highly recommend it to you, guys. It's full of excitement, horror, sacrifice, darkness and... light!
The author wrapped the beginning of the story perfectly. I loved it. I can't rate A Game of Villains anything less than 5 stars. - Leeroy SeepklinsRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This isn't your garden variety multiple POV epic fantasy novel.
It's like Lord of the Flies meets The King's Avatar meets The Methods of Rationality. Perhaps not as well written as those books but a very original magic and combat system and excellent story which kept me interested and guessing. - Ludovic CruchotRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0An awesome read! The author makes you read the lines of their book very carefully since if you missed an important detail, some hint, you won't understand that particular character's reasons.
One of the best LitRPG books I've read, and I've had more than 50 of them under my belt. The MC is using every moment of his life to become stronger, get new abilities.
I especially enjoy the tense atmosphere, the tricks, manipulations of characters over each other. The dialogues are short, but the game of minds never stops, especially in the head of MC.
Keep up the great work, author!
Spoiler: Spoiler - acrominusRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The characters are all great, fun to read about and adventure with, and the world are both well done, with its all mysteries and secrets, and portrayed. I wonder what part of it was shown to us so far.
This is the series that truly got me hooked on the litRPG genre. I've just finished reading what translator published so far for the second time and realized I didn't leave a review after the first time. This book starts off quickly and just keeps going with one event happening after another; making the book's flow pretty much spot on.
Thanks for this book. - Peculiarflame86Royal Road★★★★★ 4.5I like it. However, as book one is now only fully available on Amazon I could not read beyond book 1 chapter 20. Knowing that, I still like it. Its fresh, there's intrigue, there's a lot happening and it feels like its told as it happens rather than detached. If I get a bonus for Christmas, might pick this up.
- MaltabRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0Why does it need to be 50 characters long???????????????????
- VortixRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0One of the rare stories with an interesting and well thought-out worldbuilding and intelligent characters. Definitely a must read if you dont care about moraly grad and black decisions
- MalphasInanisRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0This story has a lot of potential and I am very excited to see where it goes in the future but it keeps its cards close to its chest as it were when it comes to giving information about the world.
- TachyreasRoyal Road★★★ 3.0An interesting take on the Transported in another world plot. The world is intersting and gains more and more depth as time goes on, its nature directly linked to the arrival of th MC and all the other characters. We navigate through lies and plots to survive and the dangers are not only humans but also monsters. I like the characters as they are, contrary to what the title says, not Villains. I would say they are more selfish and pragmatic than your average Joe and while some quickly adapt to this ruthless world (e.g our MC cutting multiple people armq no problem) they have to in order to survive. And no spoiler but they already shoxed this quality if they were there. I like that all of them, or most of them, are just flawed humans that we all could be. I would however love if they had more character development, I feel like we only know them on a very surface level.
Few grammar errors but they're not absent.
