A Family Revived

I have 8 days left with my family.  I fear that after 8 days my family as it is now will cease to exist.  Read my story if you want to find a protagonist that wants nothing to do with saving the world, just HIS world.  You will not find an OP MC, more like an overwhelmed character.  The story can and will get dark, but overall, I am writing light-hearted, due to the holiday season.  I will be descriptive about some horrific acts and will be equally descriptive about some amazing feats.  You have been warned.
