A Faint Flame

Clay Kliff, the young soldier who was a known rising star among his peers and a well-respected knight among the public, was unfortunately given a life sentence for actions of treason against the military and Church. Clay begrudgingly accepted that sentence as he felt it was the only opportunity he could take to make it away with his life. While imprisoned Clay spent a lot of time thinking about his regrets, especially the fact that he might never see his sister Amber again. Fortunately for him after two years and some months, he was released under the conditions that he be enlisted in an experimental group known as the "Crusaders". Despite the Crusaders' purpose of hunting and subjugating those who are considered "mystic", he accepts joining their ranks under the prospect that they might lead him to his sister.
