This was captivating and easy to get invested in. I almost wish that Rex would have continued having adventures with the brave little boy, but I am looking forward to seeing how he develops as the cute - protagonist, and can't wait to see what his new life- by choice, throws at him. I encourage the writer to consider Rex to become a crime fighter along with whoever his companions may be.
