Erin Weisz is a brilliant young woman who has been hard used by life. After being fired from work and having her greatest creation stolen from her, Erin decides that she will do the unthinkable to grasp for the power that her world refuses to someone of her station.

Summoning a Demon is an act condemned by all mages as they are known for the chaos they always extract for any bargain. But the power that can be gained makes it all the more tempting.

Her past tortures her and shows clearly the cost of dealing with the creatures from the void between the worlds, but with nothing left in her future, she bargains for transportation to a plane where she can gain power.
