Description

A three-part story about a mad scientist, a child of death, and a man plagued by imminent doom.

Part 1:  He's the last man on earth, and it's all his fault.  The time counts down as Cain fights against the remains of a fallen world in order to complete a mysterious mission.  Where did all the people go?  What is Cain's goal?  Find out in "A City of One."

Author recommendation: This story is best read slowly with sad music playing in your ears.  (TheInterstellarsoundtrack and the songUndaunted,by Audio Machine, are some excellent tone-setters for this tale.)

This book did a great job of making me want to keep reading. It's a very intreaging book, and I really liked it's weird spin on an appocolypse. I do think it needs less adjectives and better transitioning from the story to the memories. But over all great book, I highly recommend!

Oof, this is weird. I like what the author is trying, but right now (at the second chapter) it is just kind of a mess. Not bad in anyway, but not greatly executed. This story is written very, very unusual and very descriptive or rather most sentences feel like that.
This Story really has potential and with a few more chapter author-sama can show how creative he can be and it seems like he has an idea of where the story should go and how it should progress. There seems to be a big backstory/ world story, that we will get to know, but right now we have 1 and a half pieces of a story.
Also get used to "to and fro" as author-sama uses it often, with many other stylistic devices, which sometimes fit and but sometimes also drag. Through that the story never really builds momentum, but just stays kind of still in the room (or rather text-block).
Tl;dr: Read it. Great Potential. author-sama keep up the work.
