Description

West Mundus has been a generous home for its inhabitants. From lush soils to teeming wildlife, the people of the land are seemingly blessed by the Gods. Despite this good fortune, a thirst for more lingered in the air. Tales of a place known as the ‘New Frontier’ made waves throughout the continent, inspiring a generation of explorers.

Hailed as The Age of Discovery, alliances forged in pursuit of uncharted territories led to the creation of colossal carracks. These majestic ships were the symbols of ambition and adventure, braving through seas that once remained untouched.

But, as with all things, this era came to an end. The 'Age of Discovery' was abruptly cut short, with infighting breaking out throughout the continent. The reasons for this sudden halt remained a mystery, a puzzle that scholars would ponder for years to come, unable to unravel its secrets.

Soon, dreams of sailing became ideas of yesteryear. The powers of West Mundus centralized around a political institution known as the Warrior Association, which seemed content with their homeland. Eventually, the passage of time quenched the thirst for exploration completely.

Hundreds of years later, a powerful lord’s daughter, Nally Stenner, learns about this epic tale. Pleasantly intrigued, she embarks on a journey across Mundus, gathering a diverse crew in preparation for an audacious expedition beyond the known horizon.

TLDR: Good premise in blurb, poor execution thus far. Strange grammatical choices, unmotivated/psycopathic characters. If grammar is not an issue for you, give it a shot.
    Original written on part 4:
So I won't lie the premise that is presented in the blurb is rather interesting. However the story that follows is... unhinged?
Aside from a lot of unmotivated action, none of the characters are given any real motivation outside of some minor superfluous goal such as "I wanna fight strong people."
This might make more sense if we had any idea what some of the things going on are but none of it is explained.
Thus story also has some interesting grmatical/sentence structure things happening that just break the immersion for me.
    Chapter 8 edit:
Unfortunately the grammatical issues have gotten stranger/worse, and the lack of motivation is worse.
