Description
Eloire lives in an orphanage under the tyranny of the wicked Mrs. Cranch, a woman of many jowls, and a rotten heart, whose only friend is a metal ruler, and who finds great pleasure in making the kids’ lives a living hell. That is until three magical creatures visit him at night, eager to trade a wish he unknowingly bears for worlds of magic and never-ending wonders. But Eloire has something else in mind: a magic school for the unloved children of the world. Come and find out how Eloire builds the Dreamery, what words the trees and the winds hide, how the light bends, and how he fights against the oldest evil of the many worlds.
But always remember, where light goes, a shadow follows.
Are you brave enough?

Although I've only read the first 17 chapters it's extremely well written. The beginning is quite abrupt, but it was effective that it drew me in. The story never lets a reader feel complacent, the moment you feel comfortable the author introduces something new. It really embodies the emotion of hope, an escape from the hopeless and dreary. It has a lot of directions it can go in and I do hope that the author sees it through to the end. A good start is all I can say, how it'll finish nobody knows.
my own commentary
The author has his own ideas and writing style. I think it starts off really strong, much stronger than re:write by whocares, it has the same strong theme and world building like the op character in Lord shadow by keikokumars, and the maturity of the great storyteller and in conveying childhood innocence and belief.
This story truely is its own story. It has magic systems and characters. I felt really invested in the MC. I'll admit I skimmed some as the details are extremely well-written. I'd like to offer a few suggestions, about the introduction and the whole transition from the real to the magical although this should be a review. The story is straightforward with the mysteries and world crafting elements to make the reader intrigued. I hope the rest can keep up with what the first few chapters presents us. I felt chills from reading and it was an extremely enjoyable experience. 5 stars and have fun reading! - Zachary DugasRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5I am quite drawn in by this world...
style: so this book has a good deal of it, it’s uniquely written and I honestly didn’t care for it at first but it has grown on me.
story: this book takes a well documented idea and treads its own path, the op mc and other traits you would expect are there but shifted enough to be orriginal
grammar: excellent, not much more to say...
character:this is where the book shines, Elorie is a great character who never feels to old for his age, and I love it, can’t wait to see how he matures and grows as a character
keep up the good work!
