Meet Zell, a young aspiring monster hunter desperate to follow in his legendary mother's footsteps. He is joined by his foul mouthed, binge drinking dark elf mentor, and her lovable orphan dire wolf pet. Together they search for adventure, love, and of course gold in the epic and dangerous Vine kingdom. This web series is a fresh take on my earliest series of published works, and I'd love for my friends on RR to experience all the joy it brought me over the years.

Once upon a time there was an elven monster hunter named Agitha. She had a personable female disciple who disappeared. Years later, the son of her disciple, Zell, was determined to also become her disciple.
Now Agitha felt pretty fed up about discipleship since her last one left and was determined not to gain another one. She did her best to break him, but his body and spirit exasperated her, instead.
Finally, Agitha decided that at least she could use him as bait to attract opponents that would steer clear of Agitha normally, since she's overpowered.
Zell/Bait's mother wasn't Agitha's only disciple, but, besides Zell/Bait, she was the last one (and a quite famous one). There's a reason the mother was able to even touch the life of someone like Agitha.
The mentor/mentee part is interesting, but mostly slightly heavier in tone. If you are looking for a brainless romp, I recommend starting at chapter 29.
