Alone in the void.

During creation, that being felt things.

- CAL111Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Well first of all the story is complete, which is a rarity on royal road. The story is simply written but it flows nicely. It is a short story with decent characters and good world building, the system is simple and well thought out. Over all it was fun to read and would definitely recommend it.
- MasharuRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0That was a cool, short and unpretentious story
Simple as it is. The romance was very good for me.
The Idea of Great Beings too.
Battle scenes are good.
Some descrition of the world mayby would be good but that's alright
Because it is a kind of condensed portal story, you don't have much substory.
It was like have a script for a film or a book project so, you have what you have.
In any case you will smile by the end. - ErdosRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0This story hits all the beats every portal-fantasy out there eventually does in just 15 chapters. For that alone, it'd deserve way more attention than it has. With how lengthy stories of this nature usually grow due to the nature of their publishing, it's enchanting to see one stripped of everything that isn't, well, story. – Also, it's missing the 'Portal Fantasy' tag, if only for the story-arc typical for the genre, and maybe a 'Romance' tag.
What's most notable is how complete the story feels, despite its length. It moves at quite the pace, incorporating a lot of time-skips. Yet it never skips more than it can get away with. The reader gets a decent amount of information on what's going on, openly establishing future plot-points. The questions the story asks transform from 'what might happen' to 'how will it happen', a choice well-matched with its overall length.
Its characters are standard. The two leads are fleshed out, human, yet without real flavour, and the story isn't large enough for side characters, they're all just names associated with concepts.
It's well structured and fairly matter-of-fact – maybe a little too much so. Beginning and end, with only the necessary in between. Recommended, if you're not already way too tired of the portal-fantasy type of story, and find the idea of it minimalized intriguing.
