A Beginner's Guide to Napping, Sunbathing, and Slaughtering Your Prey

Description

Fang is a simple cat.

Fang likes napping in the sun.

Fang does not like being called Chairman Meow.

Fang likes his belly being scratched for precisely 17.329 seconds.

Fang does not like being punted between dimensions.

Fang likes hunting and killing defenseless wildlife.

Fang does not like mysterious blue boxes that appear out of thin air.

Fang is having a Very Bad Day.

A few things to note:

Fang is a cat soul in a cat body, and that's not going to change any time soon. No cat girl evolution or possessed puppet or any of that.

The slice of life tag is there for a reason. There is no epic tale here, only a cat doing cat things in a (hopefully) interesting setting.

The game elements are pretty light, mostly there for flavor, so don't expect a huge amount of crunch.

Nature is cruel, and cats are crueler than most.

    Spoiler: Spoiler
Very simple. I found the best fiction to me. A cat doing cat things. Only thing would make this better if the cat was named mittens, because it would be funny to see mittens rule the world.

This is the most inventive and interesting litrpg I've ever read.
Perhaps the best part about it is that the MC never really goes through the whole "new world" shock and surprise phase, and skips right over the training montages and gets right to the murder.
    Which I quite liked.
The style is familiar, the plot hasn't really started rolling, the grammar is good, and the characters are where this story really shines so far.
Its gonna be a character driven plot for sure.
    Marbles are the best prey.

This is the best thing I have ever read, it combines the wonders of Cats, with a glorious progression mechanic.
The setting is light, but beatifuly detailed, and the characters are wonderful.
I have never seen a better depiction of a nonhuman mind, your characterization of Fang is flawless.

    Why did this book stop?
This is one of the most fun book I've read, as well as one of the most well made pet mc book I've seen.
The last few chapters did introduce a few more worldbuilding-ish topics, like more monsters without future chapters to expand upon them. Despite this, it really was more slightly confusing rather than angering or even annoying.
All in all, it was a very fun book and I still wonder why it was stopped.
    Edit: It's finally back!

Simple, elegant, funny, and heart warming. Though, not on the way you would think. An adventure through the eyes of a nassisctic cat.

Maybe one or two iffy spots, but what do you expect, the author is simply not a cat! Stupid two-legs...
The story is marvelous, truly getting into what it means to be the superior species. All Hail Fang Imperatoris!
The grammar is pleasingly accurate. Few errors were worthy of note.
The characters at this point, chapter 11, are well planned and presented. Other than Chairman Meow, err, Fang... none have been given a lot of detail but more than enough to give a sold feeling.
    A rollicking good time!

It's very pleasant story to read, it's very fun to read, especially if you like cats.
Can be frustrating for those who simply want a powerleveling feline, to bad, this cat will do what it want, and it has nothing to do with imperfect and inferior human being whim.
Offer pets and laps, and respect his mighty existance.

Fang is adorable and fearsome no one can say otherwise
on another note this novel is amazing it has perfectly described how a cat acts and feels about everything, also the grammer is really good from what I can tell. the story has the perfect combination of silliness and exploration so 5 out of 5 stars for sure

As of chapter 7, this is a lighthearted romp following an isekai's journey through a fantastical world where our protagonist murders and/or tortures almost every living thing he finds. The only reason this is lighthearted is because we love cats. Cats are evil creatures to anything smaller than them, but because they're tiny predators we find them adorable.
This tiny story, too is adorable. I look forward to seeing what it's like as it grows.
    The only flaws:
There's a very occasional typo/grammar issue, but it really is minor.
The characters are very one-dimensional. We've only known the humans for a single chapter, so I look forward to revising the character score if they become more rounded out. The protagonist is a simple creature (so far) and so lack of character growth is understandable, but I really hope that we see some growth from them all.

Fun characters, arrogant cat. I look forward to seeing the cats intelligence climb, and more meaningful interaction with... Well, everyone. I suppose I shouldn't put spoilers in a review. ;)
Strangely, I don't think cats are actually that arrogant or self centered, they just come across as such due to their non-herd mentality social background.
You said "exaggerated" when you meant "exacerbated" in one of the earlier chapters. Can't find it now though, even though I searched.
I have anecdotal evidence that bog-standard cats can count (or recognize quantities, which isn't quite the same thing I suppose) reliably up to five.
(My aunt had a cat that would leave an offering. Of she accepted it and told him what a good kitty he was, the next day he'd leave a different species. Otherwise, he'd leave two of that same species. And the next day three, etc. Around seven he'd get confused, and leave anywhere from six to twelve..... Until she told him that he was a good kitty, and the cycle would begin anew with a different species.)
I would recommend reading "don't shoot the dog" by Karen Pryor, gives some fascinating insights into animal psychology and behavior.
I wonder if his new pet can locate him? Probably. I certainly hope she doesn't single into his current encounter! I think his latest bed is a little past his new pets challenge rating?
