I have read the authors other work and it is phenominal and this story seems like it is shaping up to be another phenominal story. It seems to be slightly similar to the other story but it is definetly a new and wonderful story that i cant wait to read more of

This story need editing bad. It's average but the MC reactions toward nobles are weird, illogical and should have been suicidal for a commoner. This story have a western spin on Xianxia but that doesn't mean the MC can go ignoring the massive status disparity the story try so hard to sell us.
I won't spoil but using his cheat during the shopping trip was understandable but doing it after on civilian was not anti-hero, that was plain evil.
