#199 was nothing more than a Test Subject. If he could develop an Ability, he would then be studied and experimented on to find the limits of how far User bodies could go, but that day would never come. As, strange visitors from the stars came, massacring the people of that world, and to be sure they took every last organism out, they sent a Biologic weapon that would turn the once-living into the undead.

And while all this is happening, #199 was still stuck in a capsule, with no memory, no background, nothing special about him. All he can do is wait for someone to let him out.
