A young boy's quiet life with his father in an isolated forest is shattered when assassins from a mysterious sect attack them, leading to tragedy. The boy, who later becomes known only as "1443," is left with segmented memories and the instinct to survive. The boy is eventually captured by the same sect that orchestrated the attack, beginning his dark journey into their fold as he’s indoctrinated and trained as an assassin.
