Description
This is dedicated to every author who ever suffered from anxiety or any other mental health issue.
Including me and Robert Blaise, author of 1% Lifesteal.
This is a parody and a fan-fiction of 1% Lifesteal.
The main character is not based on Robert Blaise. It's based on my own experience and mental health issues. It only shares a first name with him.
Robert Baker had a bad day that stretched into... his whole life?
He reached a massive and metaphorical roadblock in his writing career, his parents died, and now the corporate sharks want every penny the Bakers ever had to their name.
He needs an escape. He's going to get it.
This story makes reference to other Royal Road authors for entertainment purposes. The characters were inspired by them but do not represent the real-world person. Permission was granted to make such references in jest. No criticism of other authors is intended.

- EricTheMeekRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Parody of 1% Lifesteal with occasional guest appearances that I won't spoil. Grammar problems, formatting errors, and spelling mistakes abound, and the author takes no time to fix them. Despite this, the story is entertaining enough to warrant five stars.
Add a little LitRPG and I'd consider making it six stars. - NeutralizerRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0For its intended purpose, the story is amasing. MDW does not fail to express himself marvelously on this topic (and not only on the main topic) and every reference, concerning the story's purpose is easily noticeable throughout. I would quote them, but it would be considered a spoiler and I urge the reader to discover them on their own.
The characters are consistent, vibrant, logical and memorable. There is seriousness and goofiness in enough amounts, that keeps you on an emotional rollercoaster. Also considering this story is a parody, it way overshoots my expectations. Be warned that the 4rth wall is thin here (I like it when it breaks). - R4wloRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I wasn't sure about this at first, but I'm glad I persevered! It has all the hallmarks of a great MDW fic.
Lots of nonsense, and references to other novels, and an interesting character forced by circumstances into endless challenging situations.
I really appreciate the way characters address issues from a logical perspective. E.g. when Rob first has a bunch of 'bad guys' at his mercy. Actually addresses his dilemma of killing them, letting them die from the environment, etc. Too many novels either resolve these kinds of scenarios with sociopathic ruthlessness, or naive idiocy, and don't ever properly address issues in 'what would I personally do in that situation?'.
Keep up the good work! - RachandoRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This fanfic of a RR story has no business being this good. How? AND constant updates?! What is going on?? On top of that it scratches all the progression fantasy itches like its namesake, at xuanhuan genre levels. Like I'm invested now. Wish there were a ton more stories like this.
- Saurav BaralRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I have not finished the whole thing. But i can see you stopped 9 months ago. Please add more to this. 1% lifesteal is amazing. And i think you expanding on the world is just sublime. I would love to read more stories on that universe. I am thankful that you felt the same way and wrote this and hope you come back and write more.
