- ChengziRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I like the idea of the idea of a bunch of ne'er do wells running around making trouble, causing problems, and creating mayhem. It's like reading a DND campaign where you and all your friends decide to screw around and go full murder-hobo.
Cool concept, I'm interested to see where this goes. - Nick HRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5I enjoyed the story but the main character is a bit dull
- Acolyte_of_cthulhuRoyal Road★★★ 3.0Good book but it's one of those Amazon ones you only get 10% of it
- ReadsTooMuchRoyal Road★ 1.0SKIP IT.
okay, so I read the story this morning, and while it starts out with potential, it falls off very very quickly. Initially the exploration of both the world and advancement system were interesting but aren't developed beyond the most basic of elements. Instead of developing and evolving the mechanics, the author focuses on increasingly trivial individual details like 'knuckles power' and 'shoulder joint friction'. To that end, easily 20% of the page count composed of 'status' information with the bulk of it just being page filler. Considering how short the story is to begin with, it becomes pretty significant. Shallow characters, minimal world building, grammatical and typographical isssues on every page, only vague hints at a plot with very inane and unbelievable premises dragging the story forward.. so many issues, I'm just going to stop there.
You might like the story, or at least be interested during the first 20% like I was. Beyond that, I can't recommend this story to anyone beyond 10-12 years of age, and even then only with a grain of salt.
